Mediterraneo

Mediterraneo return for a truly special evening of traditional music. Led by The Badwills with their hypnotic pizzica, tarantella and tammurriata rhythms from Southern Italy, they will be joined by the extraordinary female choir Davno, performing music from Poland and across Eastern Europe, and the award winning Scottish traditional musician Rona Wilkie

Awesome gig from the Badwills but this has to be the first meet-up where I didn't actually meet-up with the meet-up crew! Apologies to all since I got there late and since it was seated I couldn't really say hello (plus I had no idea who you all were...) I'll do better next time!

No, really i loved it to bits but very sorry to have to leave early to catch a train. The May day demo was great and ended at Pleasance . loads of great stuff on trad fest. hope to see people again very soon.

I suggest that I arrive at 7.30 pm at the entrance to meet and greet everyone and then we can find seats together in the venue

The Storytelling Café serves delicious homemade lunches, coffees and snacks, as well as wines and beers and a special children's menu. The Centre is a friendly and welcoming space for meeting friends, finding out about Scotland's rich story heritage and experiencing the magic of live stories. We look forward to your visit!

I'm sure you can listen to their music on You Tube or some other such site. If you find a good one, please feel free to share the details.
