Pencil vs Pixel (presentation by Sander Veenhof / AugmentNL and Anna Dekker / Studio Knol)

What are for an educational context, the new opportunities offered by digital and virtual 'material' and tools? And in what way will the analogue, tangible, tactile environment continue to be important? As part of a research project initiated by MU, Studio Knol researched the future of the classroom with a series of experiments offering students a mix of analog, virtual reality and augmented reality experiences, developed in cooperation with Sander Veenhof and Luciano Pinna of AugmentNL.They will reflect on their findings and share the outcome of the research results from an educational perspective too.
