Last week Charlie Rose devoted most of his 4/25 program to online learning in higher ed. It's a really interesting panel discussion, for all grades. Dovetails perfectly with last week's meetup. http://www.charlierose.com/view/interview/12897

Interesting but not the information I was expecting - perhaps misunderstanding on my part.

I think I missed the announcement about the location change. Ended up at some other Meetup... :(

Sorry to have missed you, and sorry Scrib didn't redirect you to where we were. Hope you had a good time, and hope to see you in June!

Thanks again to a fantastic panel for sharing broadly, and thoughtfully. We learned SO much! Please see discussion board for the followup notes to this great night!

My question about the door was actually a real question. I don't know the location, and I know at the Teach for America location it is difficult to get in if one can't get there on time. I don't want to be locked out if I am driving up to Boulder. I have a work meeting that might make me late. Thanks.

Elan - You will be fine. This location is not like TFA. There will be people to let you in. Looking forward to seeing you tonight!

I didn't mean to sound as if it was not a real question. When you get here you will see that the street-facing walls and the door are all glass, and the door will be unlocked, so don't worry.

Do Meet-ups have integrated support for Google Hangouts? It would be really nice to be able to participate, save and later view these wonderful gatherings!

Will the door be unlocked if I have to be late?

I live in the Tech Center, so Boulder is too far. If you have a presentation closer to the Tech Center, I'd be interested in attending.

Were you at the most recent one at Galvanize in Denver. That's a lot closer to you (although I drove in from Boulder for it and found it very worth the trip).

    Looking forward to it!

I am happy to help people learn about local businesses/organizations but can someone tell me what scrib is/does? Thanks.
