recently announced the Kaplan EdTech Accelerator
, a three month intensive, deep immersion program for ten EdTech startups. The program is being held in New York and will run from June-September 2013. Startups will have access to an unparalleled set of industry mentors, resources and round-the-clock support as well as the chance to pitch to an elite group of angel investors and venture capitalists at the end of the program. Beyond the program, founders will be part of the TechStars Founders network, an invaluable resource they can leverage as they go on to build their companies. We are welcoming companies to apply across the entire spectrum of education - apps, platforms, K-12, higher ed, professional ed, and everything in between. For a lot more detail on the program, please visit http://www.kaplanedtechaccelerator.com
We wanted to specifically reach out to this meetup community for two main reasons:
- To invite anyone interested in the program to our Washington DC, New York and/or San Francisco info session events being held on April 1st, 2nd and 4th, respectively. Kaplan, TechStars, as well as some program mentors will be in attendance. Details and registration for the event can be found by following the city links above.
- To encourage anyone from this meetup community interested in the program to apply before the April 14th deadline. The application can be found here: http://www.f6s.com/kaplanedtechaccelerator.
Please feel free to drop us an e-mail at [address removed] with any questions about the program. You can also follow us on Twitter
to stay updated.
We look forward to seeing you at the April 4th event, and to receiving applications from any of you that are interested!
