One of our earliest events, in December of last year, was caroling for the residents and patients at the Merwick Care Center. It holds a special place in our members' hearts, and several of you asked if we would be returning again this year.
Thanks to member Sue Bertomeu Albert, we have been asked if we would come again this year. December 16, 22 and 29 are the dates that are available for caroling at Merwick, meeting at 2pm in Main Lobby. Merwick is near the new Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro.
The place is big, so there will be lots of opportunities to move around and sing the same songs to different people for about 2 hours. Singers and folks with portable instruments (guitars, percussion, etc) are needed. There are a couple of pianos, but not in all areas of the facility.
Please go to the meet-up site and respond to the poll to select a date (under More\Polls), ASAP. We need to let Merwick know by next week. Please pick the date that works best for you - we will select the one that works for the most participants. There is a poll option to indicate you are not able to participate.
