Come join us Verizon Digital Media for another great Elastic Stack meetup! Presentations will be starting at 7:30 sharp!

Elasticsearch x React - An easy and quick way to build powerful search web applications.

Is ELK(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) already an excellent stack? Personally, yes. Nevertheless, translating some of its powerful behind the scene features to a web application can be daunting some times for people like me that work on the backend more often. We will walk through how you can integrate these powerful Elasticsearch features easily without the fuss into a web application using React, a javascript library for building awesome UI interfaces developed by the folks at facebook

All skill-levels are welcome!! Hope to see you there!!

Parking and Logstics:

After turning off of Jefferson on to Alla Road, there is free street parking at the first right Coral Tree Place. From there you can enter the Reserve business park at the Gate 1 main entry which is the gate near the end of the road, or via a pedestrian entrance near gate 2.

Space 900 is the large building that is closest to the Gate 1 main entry.

Here's map of the location including parking. (https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/c/e/b/600_464856075.jpeg)Here's map of the location including parking.

Speaker #1 Bio:

CJ Ejimuda (https://www.linkedin.com/in/cj-ejimuda-eit-8273a55a/), A hybrid engineer with great passion for mining more value from data. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California. Started career as a reservoir engineer building numerical simulation models of the subsurface ( You may liken it to a NASA engineer simulating the space before or after a rocket has been launched but for beneath the earth). Currently working for hybriData.us (http://hybridata.us/) as a full stack data scientist building and deploying custom end to end AI, machine (deep) learning powered data products to the cloud leveraging big data and IoT.
