The 10th Annual automotive technology conference, Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel (SVRtW) is again at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View on Monday, October 1st, 2018.
At this annual event in the heart of Silicon Valley, over 300 technologists and journalists will have front-row seats to the hottest deep-dive brain dump from a showstopper roster of presenters that include:

SVRtW kicks off with an overview by Sven Bieker. Sven is the Founder of Silicon Valley Mobility, and has recently returned to a teaching role at Stanford, after his stint at McKinsey & Company.

James Doty, MD, of A/Eye is a clinical professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also the founder and director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University of which His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the founding benefactor. He works with scientists from a number of disciplines examining the neural bases for compassion and altruism. He holds multiple patents and is the former CEO of Accuray. Dr. Doty is the New York Times bestselling author of Into the Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon’s Quest to Discovery the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart. He is also the senior editor of the recently released Oxford Handbook of Compassion Science.

Blair LaCorteis A/Eye Cheif of Staff and is an accomplished leader and strategist with a long history of leveraging his change management skills to drive operational alignment and growth within companies. He has served as global president of PRG, CEO of XOJET, and operating partner at TPG, in addition to holding executive and general management positions in private and public technology companies including VerticalNet, Savi Technologies, Autodesk and Sun Microsystems. LaCorte graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine and holds an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, where he later served as an executive fellow at the Center for Digital Strategies.
