What we're about

The 'Electronic Musicians and Producers' (EM&P) group is for anyone who writes and/or performs electronic music in and around the San Diego area. Over the past 2.5 years, we've been proud to be involved in: 13 Open Oscillators, 3 Special Open Oscillator events, 4 specialty events (RigRant, Spidersonic 4, Media Mixed 2015 and the Ableton University Tour), 1 CO-LAB, 3 Social Mixers, 5 Ableton-specific mixers and 9 Jam Sessions.

Our primary goal is to promote an active production, performance, collaboration and development environment. Our members use a variety of tools including Ableton Live, Logic, Pro Tools, Garageband, Maschine, FL Studio, plugins such as Massive, Serum, Sylenth 1 and Max for Live as well as hardware including Elektron, Roland, Korg and modular synths. As of 2017, we have merged the San Diego Electronic Musicians and Ableton Users groups to provide this comprehensive online space to facilitate the organization of in-person activities including workshops, mixers, jam sessions, and other performance opportunities.

For those hyper-intersted in Ableton Live, we also oversee the "Ableton Live - San Diego (https://www.facebook.com/groups/AbletonSD/)" Facebook group.

Don't forget to visit our Meetup Discussion (https://www.meetup.com/Electronic-Musicians-and-Producers/messages/boards/) for more information about the group.
