OPEN BAR Pre Valentine's Day Singles Party Extravaganza

Though not an embassy event, something we find important in the weeks before Valentine's Day

(Price subject to increase every Friday)
FOR OUR SINGLE MEMBERS ONLY - specifically targeting our members in the 20s-30s age bracket: Valentine's Day is a few weeks away.

For Washington's most eligible Single Young Professionals, we will be doing a series of special events for you over the next few weeks as Valentine's Day approaches.

Tonight, we are offering a special evening to kick off this season!

( a drawing to win a Caribbean Trip)

LOCK AND COMBINATION: Due to popular demand, we are proud to again present, once again, our “Lock and Combination” party. A new twist to the classic "Lock and Key" parties, Lock and Combination events are designed to make your interactive social experience a little more challenging and last a little bit longer. Here is how it works: upon arriving at Ultra Bar, all female attendees are given a padlock that is opened only by combination. Each male is given one combination. The trick is matching up the combination with the lock. This is a fantastic way to meet many other young professionals, perhaps even your soul mate. Prizes will be awarded to those who find matches early in each round.

FIND THE MOLES: In addition, we are offering even a more fun twist on this event. Hidden within the event are "moles". It’s your job to discover who the “moles” of the event are. A mole is someone who’s lying about their identity, occupation, background, and interests. On your cards, identify those people you have spoken with whom you think may be the moles. (Please do not ask anyone for identification until the game is over. You will have plenty of time to exchange business cards later in the evening - and we will still contact those who have identifying matches.) If you would like to be a mole, please email us after you purchase a ticket. We will only be able to accommodate a small number of mole requests.

 3) FOUR MINUTE DATING: Each attendee is given a nametag with a number on it as well as an index card on which they print their name, number, and email address. For the first hour, we line the men and women up and rotate everyone every four minutes so that each person gets the chance to meet about one dozen potential mates. Each person then writes down the number of anyone whom they would like to see again and hands the cards to us. We sort through them, and a few days after the event, we email any mutual matches.

4) SECRET ADMIRER: Throughout the evening, you may meet that special someone you want to send an additional message after the event. So, For the next three days after the event, you will have the opportunity to email us (email address to be provided on site)  asking us to help you - the secret admirer - make a connection. Simply emails us a message and we will pass it on.

OPEN BAR: This event will consist of an Open Bar from 9 pm to 10 pm. Afterwards, stick around for an entire evening of dancing at one of Washington's hottest nightspots! Ultra Bar has become one of the hottest and most chic lounges and nightclubs on the DC scene.

Suggested Attire: No sneakers or baseball caps please.
