We'll be having our monthly talk meetup at Code Fellows.

This month we'll meet the new organizers, learn about how to make a great talk even if you think you're too busy or not experienced enough, and finally see how to make desktop apps with Ember!

Schedule:

6:00pm: Meet, greet and introvert-friendly networking

6:30pm: Talks begin!

Paul Watts (https://twitter.com/joulespersecond), Your New EmberJS Seattle Organizer: The Ember Developer Type Indicator

Angela Steffens (https://twitter.com/wonderwomancode), Wonder Woman Coder: "If I can do a talk, so can you." Practical tips for the next generation of meetup speakers.

Ben Demboski (https://twitter.com/bendemboski), VP of Engineering at TurboPatent (http://turbopatent.com/): Ember + Electron = Native Desktop Applications. What is Electron? How can you use Electron to build desktop apps? What are the considerations for building an app that targets both the web and desktop?

7:30pm: More networking

8:00pm: After party at Black Bottle
