At this gathering, we’ll be making our way to an area of Brighton woodland park, to connect with like-minded souls. We will have opportunities to be still, share, and let go of outdated beliefs and baggage on the theme of work.

By being immersed in the presence of trees, shrubs, birds, and other species, we’ll benefit from the inherent spaciousness and restorative qualities of the natural world. This will assist our own individual and group process as we relate with our self and one another.

Through supportive facilitation, you’ll be taken through guided exercises enabling you to gain clarity on your current work or career situation, and where you are in your life, and in relation to the wider state of the world. You’ll better understand what you value, and gain insights around how this might enter more fully into your life. You’ll develop deep connections with fellow participants in a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space.

The exact format of the gathering will depend on numbers and what arises on the day. To give you an idea of what to expect, here is some of what will take place.

- Listening and sharing with fellow participants
- Nature-based connection
- Journalling
- Time for silence

- Sturdy footwear suitable for park/woodland
- Several layers of clothing and something waterproof in case of a passing shower
- Pen & notepad
- Small sheet or something similar to sit on in case the ground is wet
- Fluid/water

- Anyone looking for more meaning and fulfillment in their career path or work
- Anyone looking to better understand how their work can resonate more fully with the needs of society and the planet

Please arrive on time. We will gather at the junction between London Road and Peacock Lane at 10.30am, from where we will walk into the park/woodland.

In the event of unsuitable weather, registrants will receive a message by the afternoon the day before the gathering. If the gathering is postponed the new planned date will be Sunday July 7th (2 weeks later). If you are unable to make this new date, you will be able to receive a full refund, provided you let us know within 3 days.

"I have found Dr Muzammal's work inspirational and can't thank him enough." Anzhela Racheva

Muzammal is a facilitator, therapist and coach based in Brighton. He used to work as a medical doctor in NHS psychiatry over more than 12 years. He took the plunge and embraced both the turbulence and freedom when he shifted his own career from the medical profession to being primarily self-employed working with people but now without the option of prescribing any meds!.

He is trained in Emotional Breakthrough Journeywork, is a Permaculture Designer (nature-inspired design), and has been active in social and ecological activism over more than a decade. Muzammal has a passion for creating safe spaces that invite all parts and voices to be heard, enabling the emergence of wisdom and the catalyzing of wholeness, healing and meaningful action.

Muzammal has many years of experience working with both individuals and with groups.
