Intro to Design Thinking: Reinventing the Gift Giving Experience.
The process of doing for others is an undeniable part of Emotional Fitness. As we strive to stay aligned with the emotional states we enjoy, let's be mindful about how we work for others, as it from here that we can create a connected and fulfilled life that we can support our emotional fitness with. At the meetup I will briefly facilitate our familiarization with one another, the language we will be using, and review our desired biases. Then we will start 1. We will partner up and have a round of interviewing one another not to create our own design prototype, but that of our partner 2. A second round of interviewing each other will dig deeper at the Whys and Emotions of your partner. 3. We will then do some work for our partner independently assessing there needs and writing down insights 4. We will continue this independent work and define a problem statement of unmet needs. 5. Time to get ARTY, we will independently sketch out at least five radical way to meet your partner's needs (Magic Desired) 6. meet back with your partner and share solution and capture feedback 7. Reflect and independently sketch a new solution for the needs of your partner. 8. build your solution, Crafts material provided, but your welcome to bring more. *If you do bring art supplies Please do not bring messy glues, paints, and ensure markers are washable. 9. Share solution and get feedback 10. Close. I will facilitate the above with minimal prompt to ensure we are on track and bring us back to our intention and of course, there will be some awesome music. This is a free event if you feel inclined to donate $10-$50 dollars the proceeds will help support development and materials. Please do not RSVP unless you intend on attending and update your RSVP according to your changing schedule.

    What we're about

    Hello,
Welcome to the Emotional Fitness Zone. As many of us now know Emotional Intelligence is one of the core attributes of a holistic framework in life. Whether it is business, creativity, family, or school Emotional Intelligence fosters our ability to connect, remain resilient, and enjoy what is happening in our lives. The Emotional Fitness Zone is designed to foster that emotional Intelligence through learning, play, and dialog about topics related to the Emotional Nature of our Shared Human Condition.

Scientifically Emotion is an amygdala response to thoughts and situations that can inform how we act. Not specific to one gender the group will not be a men's group, nor a woman's group but a shared space that at a minimum seeks reconciliation, but at its peak provides a creative space where we can partake in conversations, activities, and play designed to grow our Emotional Fitness.

The group format will be to check-in, then if we are in a food-friendly space (still looking for venue space) people can grab some snacks and a drink, then we will move into some merging and collective building exercises and begin our interaction for the particular meet-up. At this time I am thinking, about processing content from past classes, playing through coloring, and discussing specific wisdoms around emotional intelligence.

PLEASE ACCURATELY RSVP, AS MANY OF THE MEETUPS WILL INCLUDE ITEMS FOR ATTENDEES AND ACCURATE COUNT WILL BE HELPFUL IN PRODUCING CORRECT AMOUNT OF RESOURCES FOR THOSE IN ATTENDANCE.
