What we're about
This meetup has been in existence for 3 1/2 years as of April 2018. We have discussed characteristics of, shielding and more, the basics of Being and Empath, and we are not likely to have those as meeting topics again. Check out The Empath Tool Kit mentioned below for the basics. Also, if you come to a Tea and Coloring or Games and Snacks during break feel free to ask questions re the 'basics' or anything else. We probably will not plan a discussion re that information unless several people ask for it and pretty much commit to attending. The last times we offered those topics only seasoned (to the group) Empaths attended.
We Empaths have special abilities. We are all each others' mirrors and we teach each other. I believe we are all authorities on our own piece of the Empath Puzzle - which just so happens to overlap with a bunch of others' pieces. Together, we Know about Empaths.
The purpose of Empaths Unite is to provide uplifting support for Empaths. If you choose to join us we ask that you be mindful of what you choose to share or express, as our focus is on supporting Empaths with the challenges and joys of being the Beings we are naturally. This is not a place for personal group counseling because the process of sharing our life challenges not directly related to being an Empath becomes a downer for those of us hearing about your pain and struggles with life.
We intend to focus on how we as Empaths can improve the overall vibration of the Earth and be the best people we can be, whether we choose to directly help other people or choose to shine our lights and help others indirectly.
If you are uncertain whether or not you fit with this group check out The Empath Tool Kit under the Pages tab just below the words Empaths Unite above. There you will find short and more detailed articles explaining just what an Empath is.
We have a Code of Conduct which is as follows:
Empaths Unite is a community of sensitive, caring, empathic, compassionate, positive, encouraging and intuitive people who welcome like-minded people.
Respect is expected This includes boundaries, beliefs and opinions. We live by The Golden Rule - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Harassment is not tolerated. If you believe you have been harassed feel free to contact the organizer with your concerns. A definition of harassment follows:
