EN-V is for couples and single parents who's offspring have flown the coop, or are getting ready to, and are looking forward to a life after the nightmare (I mean, lovely children). This could be a great way for new empty-nesters to get advice from the veterans and tips on how to keep them out of the house (I mean, make sure they are ok).
We are a fun couple in our 40s who have been in Vegas and loving it since 2006. We are very active and enjoy a diverse range of activities from drive-in movie night, to game night, pub crawls, cosplay, Renn Faire, camping/hiking and other outdoor activities, sports, bowling, taco and beer fests, traveling, you name it -- you know, the usual. We'll try anything once - twice if we like it. So it's fair to say that you should be fairly active. We have lots of great friends but we are looking to spend time with fun people who are like-minded.
We ask that EN-V members be 30s to 55. We apologize if we offend anyone outside of this specific age rage but we are hoping to find people that we have more than just an empty nest in common with. We plan on starting off with some simple get-togethers like dinner and see how it flows from there.
What this group is not:
1. A dating group for those who are single. If you happen to find someone within the group, awesome! But it's not the groups intent or purpose.
2. For anyone who has never had children. We are sorry but we have to limit the members to those with a common ground. For those who don't have children by choice or not, I believe there is a Meetup group for you.
3. Your adult children may not be invited to any of the events as we believe that would defeat the purpose of this group.
4. For anyone who still has children at home unless they are leaving soon.
