Needles, Thread, & Yarn Circle

If people want to learn to knit they need to bring a worsted weight yarn (in a color they like) and US size 7 or 8 straight needles (9-12 inches long).  The yarn should be smooth, not furry and can be wool or acrylic blend.  They will learn to knit and purl with a simple scarf pattern.

It was very nice and relaxing. I was very comfortable with the people who were there. I hope to see you all again.

Hi there -- I wanted to apologize for not having been able to make it. A co-worker of mine needed to leave work unexpectedly, so I was asked to stay later. I have hopes that this event may be repeated again in the future -- I would have deeply enjoyed it! :)

Sorry, I'm not going to make it tonight. I woke up with *kennel*cough* and think I'd better keep it to myself if it is infectious.
