Old Church Stoke, Powys
This is a new 8 mile walk set in beautiful countryside on the Shropshire /Wales border. It starts from the Roundton Hill National Nature Reserve. Roundton Hill is an Iron Age Fort. There is very little road walking, most of the walking is over fields and along tracks and on a clear day the views are really something. There are some ascents but all of these are easily done as we will have plenty of breaks.
This walk has been reccied and there are some patches of mud which will of cause be worse if we have had rainfall prior to the walk. There are some stiles and also cattle and sheep. Dogs are welcome but you may have to keep them on a lead for a lot of the walk.
The post code will get you into the general area. Get to Church Stoke and then follow the road to Old Church Stoke.....There are brown signs from Old Church Stoke that will direct you to the car park at the Nature Reserve....
