English/Spanish Exchange for NATIVE and ADVANCED Spanish Speakers
This weekly gathering in conjunction with the ¡Vamos! Meetup group provides an opportunity for conversational exchange between: * NATIVE Spanish speakers -and- * ADVANCED Spanish speakers fluent in English Meets at the coolest neighborhood coffee house in Austin! Very comfy, artsy atmosphere in what was once an old house. Advanced Spanish speakers--please be advanced as during the Spanish portion of the meet up no English is used. Advanced speakers should be able to maintain a high level of Spanish and "keep up" with native speakers fluently for the hour of Spanish. Lovers of language, music, art, sports and exercise especially welcome. Let's make this exchange group something distinct and unique, educational, social and meaningful. To cooperate with the coffee house please be kind enough to order a drink or food in lieu of a reservation charge for the meeting room. --------------- Visit the Vamos Meetup group:

English Español Conversation Club members meet regularly to practice speaking Español and/or English. All levels of speakers of English and Spanish are welcome to attend. Just take a seat, introduce yourself, and start talking. VOLUNTEERS are sought to host meetups for our group of any format on any day of the week. We'd enjoy restaurant outings, mixers, pot lucks, or brief instructional presentations followed by fun guided conversational practice with multiple people on a basic to advanced level. Your ideas are welcome.

If you want to practice Spanish and should be so lucky as to chat with someone who is a native speaker of the language, do give them time to practice in English with you as well.
