Pronunciation for Fluency
Learning the elements of English pronunciation can make you sound more fluent and help you understand native speakers. Pronunciation affects every area of English conversation and these lessons have been devised to help you manipulate pronunciation to become more fluent in English!
English Pronunciation in Grammar
In one lesson we might base our conversation around a particular grammatical construction. You will use the correct phonemes and apply the principles of connected speech to make you sound more English. You will also emphasise the key words by stressing them clearly and change the effect of what you say by switching intonation. The aim is to make you use grammar like a native English speaker and feel more fluent and confident when you speak.
English Pronunciation in Vocabulary
You learn new phrasal verbs and idioms by seeing how we put them into sentences. You apply the elements of pronunciation to sound more natural and understand native speakers when we use your new phrases. Using phrasal verbs and idioms with pronunciation skills can have a significant impact on how you communicate with native English speakers and make it so much easier to understand us when we speak.
