What we're about

These sessions are led by Jill, a former English teacher.

Occasional outdoor walking sessions are held at Maple Grove dog park and cost $1.

Regular online sessions cost $3. Each regular practice session is offered 2 times a week: on Saturday at 11:15 am,  and Tuesday at 6:15 pm, via Skype. You may sign up for one of the 2 sessions. Sign-ups for any empty spots will open one week before the meetup. Once you have signed up, please send me a meetup message with your Skype name. I will then send you instructions for sending the $3 etransfer to me.

The Practice Session is intended for those who are still actively learning the English Language. It is an informal, oral English conversation session (no homework!!) with an emphasis on both grammar and pronunciation. We learn and practice common idioms and expressions, verb tenses and vocabulary. We also work on English pronunciation, focusing on improving the pronunciation of those hard-to-pronounce words and sounds, and getting rid of that little bit of accent that lingers. It is a casual, non-threatening informal group . All levels of English learners are welcome!

If you would like further info about this group, feel free to contact Jill. She will gladly answer any of your questions. \
