Züri eXpats Zunft Association Announces Expat Portrait Exposition and Movie Screening
(Zurich, Switzerland) – On Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the RiffRaff movie theater, the Züri eXpats Zunft Association will be hosting a sneak preview of Swiss artist Primo Martinelli’s latest project, “100-Portraits – 100 Nations,” which will be part of an upcoming illustrated book documenting the diversity of the foreign community in Zurich.
After a brief awards ceremony, guests will also attend a screening of the upcoming movie, “You Drive Me Crazy,” a film about a funny but fascinating journey in-between cultures and globalization. Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout for a small payment.

The comedy tells the story of Jake, an American born in Tokyo, Mirela, a German born in Mumbai, and Hye-Won, a South Korean born in Munich who gave up everything to start a new life abroad. But to make that dream happen, they first have to learn how to drive, AGAIN!
Lost in traffic, they will all confront their new culture in the most direct and thrilling manner. And get us into a funny but fascinating journey about cultures and globalization.

The Züri eXpats Zunft Association is proud to represent the city’s expat community and to honor them with this exposition and film screening. The Association is promoting the photo exposition and proposing it to the City and Canton of Zurich to show its involvement in Swiss society and to share expat stories with the population by presenting these works in public areas in Zurich.

Zurich Marathon on the 6 of April 2014, we are invited to join and have our own teams to start, any of you interested to be part of this great event?
We need an allience officer to help us out there ( Voluneers wanted to get involved in this project)
and at the project with the portraits that goes around the Canton of Zurich and through the different musea and Mainstations ( german speaking volunteers needed to interact between th eorganisers and swiss population)
