I enjoy an integration of genres more often than one pure genre: mostly drama, comedy and sci-fi. I also enjoy documentaries and films of any genre with characters who act against the zeitgeist or norms to create positive change, transform themselves and inspire others. I also love subtle and tragic tales of unlikely mutualism.
I've read books by Riso and Hudson, Palmer, Naranjo, Daniels, Ouspensky, and Jaxon-Bear. I've read online text by Rohr, Clarence Thompson, the Fauvres, and others. I attended a lecture by Elizabeth Blackwell, a workshop by Tom Condon, and Ben Saltzman's panels. I've broken out of the box, for the most part. My favorite entertaining and enlightening Enneagram video series is by Joshua French on YouTube. "The Gap at the Bottom of the Enneagram" is one of my favorite short articles.
I've read authors in the different traditions of the Enneagram and love film discussion. Professionally, I do applied behavior analysis.
