NOTE: THIS IS A CANTONESE PRESENTATION.
Ways to Wealth, Principles of Success – Session 4: How to identify and foster the relationship with a Mentor?

Eddie-HUI

A good mentor will empower you to shorten your time crossing the chasm as a startup and be ready for Angel Investors, PE or VC, do you have an ideal profile of your mentor? how do you identify the right mentor and invite him/her on board?

As a startup, how long could you survive the startup stage before your cash runs out, will it be nice if there is someone who could give you some quality advice to overcome the challenges in early stage and coach you to the right direction.

Do you want to join the queue of those 90% startup business close down in first year? Definitely not, so How could you avoid that, one of the solutions could be having a mentor? how do you identify and select the Right one?

Eddie, your sharing was inspiring. thumb up.

I once heard about business mentorship from Philip Lai (now in SH) but then I never explored further too seriously.

Btw, i suddenly recall these 2 books: -
    1. "Tuesday with Morrie" and
    2. "生命導師何處尋?"

    For sharing too.

Waking up at 5am this morning, I thought of how could I add more value to your time coming. I re-wrote my presentation with the skills I learnt from Singapore attending an Executive Presentation Skills last month...sounds getting closer to both of our objectives this time.
