Welcome to the EGGS open gaming session. This session we've two featured games: Antiquity and the Sands of Time.

Just like the other meetup, feel free to come and go as you please. However, we do ask if you commit to a game and then cannot make it to the game to please communicate with the other players.

For the featured games, rules will be linked if available online.

If you're in this group, you already know the Condo Clubhouse rules. But still it must be said: PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PARK IN AN UNMARKED SPACE.

Featured game: ANTIQUITY
Published in 2004 by Splotter Spellen. Plays 2-4 players.
Rules: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/7224/antiquity-rulespdf

Just beyond the city’s gates, the land is rich with resources. Thick forests provide wood before being turned into farmland. Rivers and streams are home to an endless supply of fish. Stone and precious metals are mined from the numerous mountain ranges. But as the city grows, the once-fertile lands have been depleted. Workers must travel even farther to strip resources from distant lands. Demand soon becomes difficult to meet. And just as quickly as the city grew, so do the number of corpses that start littering the streets of your once great city.

Welcome to Anitquity.

Featured game: THE SANDS OF TIME
Published in 2018 by Spielworxx. Plays 2-5
Rules: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/158946/sands-time-english-rules

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

In The Sands of Time players lead and manage ancient civilizations through trade, colonizing, and warfare. Players take turns playing action cards and then record their exploits with Chronicle cards so that their greatest accomplishments will be remembered.

There are at least 2 copies of Antiquity and 1 copy of the Sands of Time in the group so we can accommodate at least 13 for the featured games. The meet-up starts at 1 so expect a demo around that time. Again this is an open gaming session as well and we hope to do this on a more regular basis. See ya there!
