Sign the e-petition "Stop the badger cull"

  • Nov 26, 2014 · 7:00 PM

The Government has given the go ahead for badgers to be culled in England this autumn, as part of measures to protect cattle from (TB) tuberculosis.
This means that over 70% of the badger population will be killed, many of them healthy.

If you haven't already signed the e-petition (that is going to go before the Government) then now is your time.
It's so quick and easy to do and so far 135,800 people have signed it.
It was launched by Dr. Brian May (Yes that one), and the founder of "Save Me" check out

It's part of Team Badger.
Team Badger is a coalition of organisations who have teamed up to fight the planned cull of badgers.
The coalition consists of the RSPCA, League Against Cruel Sports, Humane Society International/UK, Save Me, Stroud 100, Gloucestershire Against Badger Shooting, Animal Aid, Network for Animals, IFAW, David Shepherd foundation, Conservatives against the Badger Cull, Born Free and Peta and is growing daily.
SO CHECK OUT to sign the petition.

Hiya! Like your post and definitely agree with it (having signed the petition already), but maybe we can make it more of a meetup. I know the Badger trust always has need for help.... be it for doing a badger count in certain areas or to do collecting/handing out flyers etc etc.... Maybe would be a fun and (at the same time) valuable meet-up?

Hi Cindy. Please add your name as attending so that the event is announced. Then people will see it and can add ideas on what the event should include. Thanks.
