Perhaps of interest: the following short O'Reilly book is available for free download (no email, etc. required -- just click the button): "Designing Reactive Systems": The Role of Actors in Distributed Architecture" by Hugh McKee.
You can get it here: http://feederio.com/book/23/designing-reactive-systems
While it doesn't mention Erlang, it does talk about how this type of technology is very useful these days, meaning it could be useful in persuading people to give things like Erlang a look.
A short quote, from the "Summary" section of the first chapter:
"This report is targeted toward decision makers in the enterprise andprovides some high-level insight into how actors and actor systemscan be used to create lightweight business systems that evolvequickly, that can scale, and that can run without stopping."

Changing the meeting location to Lemonade like the last few times. They've got some good tables inside which can accommodate a group of 6-8 easily, and that way we can have some food and chat about Erlang.
Francesco will be there, so come with the hard questions (and bring your copies of his books to have signed ;).

Anyone can schedule a meeting now if they can get it all together. Anthony Molinaro fucking rocks Erlang like there is no tomorrow.
