It's time for the third Eskilstuna DevOps meet-up.

Our presenter Dariusz Glowacki from Scania AB will show us how to create a sample Gitlab pipeline to provide End-to-End testing with Selenium framework.
https://about.gitlab.com/
https://www.seleniumhq.org/

Dariusz is a .NET developer / architect. He started his career back in 2005 when .NET framework 1.1 was just out. He worked for British, Norwegian, American and Polish companies to recently settle down in Sweden to help Scania building their global sales tool solution.

Even though Microsoft stacks and solutions remain in his main interests, he worked with many open source projects and programming languages like Python, Java, PHP, javascript, Angular and many others.

He loves being in the cloud to architect and build reliable, fault tolerant, high performant systems.

TALK
The presentation will be divided into 2 parts. First there will be an introduction to Gitlab and its pipelines, and technical concepts of running web GUI tests in dockerized selenium grid.

After the break, Dariusz will show us a demo of how to trigger a GitLab pipeline that starts automated GUI tests for a web application.

We are looking forward to seeing you at this third meetup of the Eskilstuna DevOps community!
