  • Celebrating The near arival of New Horizons spacecraft To Pluto!
    New Horizons spacecraft will reach Pluto on July 14, 2015. At the edge of our solar system, after a long trip through the vast space that separates us from Pluto that fuzzy far far away snow ball will reveal its true face for the first time in human history! Pluto once considered the 9th planet then demoted into Planetoid will shine again! Join us to converse on the epic and mysterious history of Pluto and its neighbor objects in the Oort Belt at the precipice of our solar system and beyond. Will have food and beverage starting at 6:45 PM Astronomer amateur as well as professionals are welcome to bring their telescope.

  • Belated Summer Soltice Astro-Party
    Please Join us to our first Summer Party! If anyone likes to participate with a performance or talk about a subject in astronomy or show some pictures or artworks please let me know. We will start the party at 6:30 PM, and do telescope set up for those of you that bring their telescope. The buffet potluck 7:00PM. Sunset and Star gazing at 7:40 PM. If someone have a performance or talk we will have it from 8:00PM to 9:00PM. Astrophotography after 10 PM. Please do not forget to RSVP. I look forward seeing you all.   • Astronomy Party At Estrella! Finaly!!!...Hope for good weather...
    For Saturday 29! The weather seems to become a little more stable so I think we have a good chance to have a nice evening. I need volunteer for showing the other artistic activities music, singing, paintings etc for the evening any one? Please let me know. We will start setting up at 6:00 pm then have a buffet around 6:30 pm. Observation of our celestial sky will start around 7:30 pm. Please RSVP so I have an idea of how much food and drinks will need. thank you and I look forward seeing you soon.

  • Ison comet and breakfast
    This is the last Ison viewing before it's closest approach to the sun for us. We will observe Ison as the sun rise and enjoy a nice breakfast before starting the day. Don't miss it! It may well be the comet of the century! Ison will emerge from the east horizon at 6:44 am The tail may be visible earlier. Also check the Birthday/Astronomy viewing for Nov 27 evening.   • Weather permitting we will have a Star Party and talk about cosmology.
    Hi, everyone For those who came this weekend. I hope you had a good time and thank you for coming. Here is the schedule for next event. If the weather is clear we will take the 24" RC telescope out and look at October' Sky. We will have a potluck at 6:30pm, your favorite dish or drink is welcome. Let's see what the mix of astronomy, art and people will bring us this time. More details to come … I look forward seeing you!
