It's the first meetup of the year and this time we are joined by Simon De La Rouviere (https://twitter.com/simondlr) from Consensys (https://consensys.net) and Paul Kohlhaas (https://twitter.com/paulkhls) from 9needs (http://9needs.net/#about-marquee).
Simon is working on the decentralised music platform "Ujo Music (https://ujomusic.com)". Paul works for 9needs on an ethereum based digital identity system. Both are coming from South Africa and will talk about their projects.
Due to having 2 speakers there will be no introduction presentation this time.
Recap of the most important events in the last two months.
2) Simon De La Rouviere: UJO Music (https://ujomusic.com)
UJO Music is a decentralised music platform aimed to tackle many of the inefficiencies of the current music market. Their goals include giving artists ownership over their own music, removing unnecessary middlemen and distributing revenues in a transparent manner.
Simon will give an overview of the platform followed by a Q&A.
3) Paul Kohlhaas: 9needs (http://9needs.net/)
Paul is currently working on an ethereum based digital identity system with 9needs and Unicef in South Africa.
Afterwards feel free to chat with other cryptocurrency enthusiasts about ethereum or whatever else you find interesting.
