Last month has been a month full of big ethereum events like EDCON (http://edcon.io) and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (http://entethalliance.org) launch. After an introduction to ethereum and a quick recap of those events, Stephan Karpischek will present about his company Etherisc (https://etherisc.com), a decentralised insurance and reinsurance marketplace.

A general overview of the ethereum project.
What are its aims? How does it work? Who is behind it? How does the release process work? What happens now?

3) Stephan Karpischek: Etherisc - Decentralised Insurance
Etherisc's (http://etherisc.com) mission is to build decentralised insurance applications, making the purchase and sale of insurance more efficient, enable lower operational costs, provide greater transparency into the industry of insurance compared to traditional operations, and democratize access to reinsurance investments.
Etherisc is most well known for its Flight Delay Dapp (http://fdd.etherisc.com), an insurance for flight delays realised as a smart contract, which was live on the ethereum main net for last years developer conference. Later it won a main prize at the Blockchain Startup Contest (http://blockchainstartupcontest.com) in Graz and then became the most financed project at the ether.camp hackathon (https://hack.ether.camp/).
Afterwards feel free to chat with other cryptocurrency enthusiasts about ethereum or whatever else you find interesting.
