Most of the time we don’t need to think about what to do. Ethics comes quickly and naturally. But there are times when we need to stop and think about what is right. The problem is that often we don’t recognize when it is time to take our ethics slow.
Arthur Dobrin is Leader Emeritus of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island and Professor Emeritus of Hofstra University, where he continues to teach courses in business and media ethics.
Dr. Dobrin is the author of more than 20 books, for adults and children, both non-fiction and fiction.
