What we're about

This group is intended to be a member-run group, not one of those top-down groups where one organizer decides everything. In other words, the group will have only as many activities as you, the members, collectively suggest and organize. The more you pitch in, the more recreation choices you will have.

We are Christians who believe Jesus has commissioned us to share the good news of eternal life, not only with a life of integrity and love, but also with words. We believe it is not enough to invite others to Church, but we must bring the Church and the Gospel to the Lost. We believe it is not a requirement to build trust first, to build a relationship first, or "earn" the right to share this very important, very urgent, very good message of the Life, Death, and the Resurrection of Our Master and King, Jesus the Chosen One. We believe that the idea of living such a life of love that non-Christians see a sparkle in our eye and ask us what makes us different is a lie from Satan and complete misinterpretation and violation of the command to "Preach" the gospel. We believe that withholding the Message of Salvation through Jesus is the most unloving thing you can do. We believe all have sinned and fall short of God's Holy and Perfect moral standards. We believe nobody is worthy of eternal life besides Jesus, but through Jesus, God the Father has given us the right to be called His Children and to dwell with him for all of eternity to the Glory of God. We believe we must put our trust in Jesus as Lord and surrender our will to Him as described in the Scriptures which is our highest authority as it testifies of Jesus the Promised One. We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission until His glorious return. Isaiah 6:8 "Whom shall I send, and who will go out for us?" Romans 10:14-15 "14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (if you've gotten this far, maybe you would prefer to talk by phone? 510.646.3880)
