An Independent College Advisor with an occasional special guest speaker will educate participants about effective College Planning and the consequences when students and families skip the necessary research and planning needed to make informed decisions about their college and career choices. Major topics of discussion include identifying a teen's Best Fit colleges where the student can thrive academically & socially without taking on large amounts of debt. In group meetings, we'll discuss & learn the many effective strategies of how to be prepared for college and how to optimize your time while visiting campuses and attending college. We will also discuss the long list of risk factors and issues to avoid when making a huge investment in higher education. Meeting locations will vary throughout Nassau & Suffolk County on Long Island.
