This 4 class yoga series is specially designed for anyone who has never stepped into a yoga studio.
If you are someone who has ever had an interest in taking up a yoga class but have not quite figured out how to fully step into the unfamiliar territory, may it be due to fear, anxiety, physical ailments, discomfort, time restraints, lacking funds, low energy, injury, or for any other limiting thoughts, this class is for YOU! NOW IS THE TIME for YOU to embrace the breath of life with a comfortable, intimate community of compassionate healing facilitators who are ready to support you on your new and exciting journey. Yoga instructor Meghan Ek will be hosting this gifted 4-class series with your greatest wellness potential in mind.
"I believe that yoga is a foundation to understand a deeper connection between our physical bodies and our minds. It gives a broader understanding about body awareness and the impact our every life can have on us. By practicing yoga we are giving our selves the time and gift of letting go and internally listening. It is easy to go through the stressors of everyday and forget to acknowledge what we are feeling and most importantly what we need personally. Our mats are a place we come to so we can recognize what our bodies need in that moment. This is a place where we can let go of judgments and truly honor and listen to ourselves. Yoga gives us the chance to come back and become aware of a fundamental importance we can so quickly forget to acknowledge, our breath. By connecting to our breath we are connecting to so many important aspects of the body's needs. Yoga is truly transformational. My goal in the next four classes is to provide a safe and comfortable place to bring answers to the fundamentals of a yoga practice. I will strive to provide a calm environment for you to learn and practice the eastern and western world of yoga through breath (pranayama), poses (asana) and meditation. Pull up your mat and join us in this learning experience, where we will hold space free from judgement, to explore the gift of UNION. This will be an evening, candle lit event.
You will want to wear comfortable clothing that will be easy to move your body in. Socks and shoes will be removed at the door.
Please refrain from wearing scents and perfumes to class. 21Drops Essential Oils carried at Deep Roots Massage will be integrated into our practice.
You will need to BYOM (bring your own mat).
Complementary Rishi and Yogi teas will be served as a refresher.
There is no fee for this 4 class series. Love donations are welcomed.
BONUS! FREE 15minute ChromoAromatherapy Infrared Sauna Session Meditation will be raffled off at the beginning of each class for immediate use following each of the 4 yoga sessions. You are welcome to bring a bathing suit to wear, however, the sauna is offered in your own private room and is most beneficial when entered nude. Plush spa towels, water and cooling sprays will be provided.
You must RSVP to this event. Space is very limited to keep classes small for more one-on-one attention, offering an opportunity for more personal attention, keeping the floor open for many questions, modifications, comfort, and a quality yoga experience. Please do not bring guests.
You will get the most benefits by attending all 4 classes, however, we fully support you if you're only able to attend any limit less than 4. Please RSVP to each individual class invitation ONLY if you're able to attend.
