Dear all, This is finals - we are 4 DCNers, confirmed member to attend this event, are going to have a celebrating dinner at one of Chinese restaurant -

MIAN DIAN WANG @ 7PM.

Location : international city Chinese cluster A04.

You are most welcome to join us.

We will order, we eat, we chart, we laugh, we pay then we say 'bye' ......

The Dragon Boat or Duanwu Festival is a traditional

and statutory holiday originating in China (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China). Dragon Boat Festival of 2014 falls on June 2. Dubai china
night will celebrate it on 30th of May to catch up the closest Friday to enable our member to join one of the biggest Chinese traditional festival

What we do:

1. Networking and discussion- Topic to be discussing:

* About dragon boat festival

* How to celebrating the Festival

The festival now occurs on the 5th day of the 5th month of the traditional Chinese Lunar calendar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_calendar), the source of its alternate name, the Double Fifth Festival. the date varies from year to year on the Gregorian calendar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorian_calendar) because of chinese lunar calendar. The focus of most celebrations involves eating zongzi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zongzi)(sticky rice dumplings), drinking realgar wine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Realgar_wine) (雄黃 酒, xiónghuángjiǔ), and racing dragon boats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_boat).

special food – Zongzi (sticky rice Dumplings in bamboo)

- We will learn a few new Mandarin Chinese words related to holiday season and celebrating

2. Having fun - The most important fun to us – trying chopstick – with authentic Chinese dinner

What we will eat : we will order and buying Chinese food, we don't cook, and we will Zhongzi!!!

What we should return: The cover change is AED 50.00
exclude soft drinks that cost we should look after. We will pay it to DCN ambassador before the event at the venue entrance.

Our event is non-profit social activity to aim at build up a
platform for Chinese language and culture lover to learn to share the information and the knowledge.
