This is a weekly therapy group that focuses on mindfulness practice to join together individuals with various "life" concerns in a supportive and contained environment.
The mindfulness therapy group is a continuous and open ended group meaning that participants can be in the therapy as long as they see fit. The intention is to provide all with a platform to discuss "life" issues and concerns and have them addressed by the group co-ordinator, but equally by all the participants in the group.
The purpose is to assist you in overcoming any fears and stumbling blocks that are present in your life and that are stopping you from reaching your full potential in all areas of your existence.
This is a “closed group” meaning, that when the full capacity has been reached, no further participants will be allowed to join “that” group. This does not mean that there will not be a group for you as there will be a number of groups running at various times during the week to suite every participants needs and goals.
The initial meetup will be held in West Finchley and will follow a two hour structure, from which participants are to arrive a bit before the start of the session so that there is no unnecessary anxiety that enters into the room (as I am very sure you all know how this feels) and so that the group can commence at the desired time to provide you with all the containment and support that is needed.
Initial 20 minutes: Mindfulness Practice
60 minutes: Group sharing and understanding experience
Final 20 minutes: Mindfulness Practice
Wear comfortable clothes:)
PS: the session doors will open at 7:30 sharp, so please be mindful of other therapists using others room (keep noise low when coming in;)
