Great talk. I've learn Puppet recently so it was nice to see how the two compare. Now I got inspired and I am installing Vagrant for the very first time.

Thanks for speaking tonight. Enjoyed the presentation, very thorough and I thought it was a well thought-out progression thru the building blocks of resources thru cookbooks and onward. I think you probably need a couple of hours to do the slides full justice. The only thing I would add if anything is a little context on what problems you're solving with Chef on a daily basis at CTM, what it replaced and why, that sort of thing. Thanks again, enjoyed it.

Thank you for the feedback Andrew. I agree, would have been good to talk about some of the benefits / issues / choices made from using Chef inside CTM. I will incorporate that in to the future of the slide deck. Thanks for the ideas.

The lovely people at QWAN have given us a couple of decks of their fantastic 'Code Smells and Refactoring Cue Cards' to give away. So if you've been wondering how to deal with inappropriate intimacy or remove your data clumps, these are for you.

Hi David / Jon / Ben, just a quick question...will we need decent internet access for this talk? And/or, should we setup some type of adhoc LAN with some form of server, i.e. two or three external USB disks with various bits and bobs on it, (pre-bakes) etc? 20 or so folk trying to download a 200mb starter O/S might be challenging?

Hi Alan, with the allocated time I have and the amount of content I want to cover, it will only be myself doing the demonstrations - everything will be on github though.
