This walk's a mixture of fields and the Oxford canal towpath, and just over 5 miles long.
The pub doesn't have dogs inside - but at this time of the year the dogs aren't likely to over-heat in their cars! I did spot a big bowl of clean doggie drinking water when I was last there, so the dogs aren't unwelcome outside. There's a carvery menu on Sundays if you're likely to want to eat - or crisps etc in the bar. Details here: http://www.goldenlionhotel.org/dining/restaurant-and-bar.aspx (have just looked, and there's more than carvery - lasagne, fish and chips, salads and veggie options).
I've let the pub know that our group will be in their car park, and that nearly everyone will be having a drink and/or eating (at least a drink is polite in exchange for parking!).
The car park is behind the pub and up a slope.
NOTE: 1030 start time (except Kate starting at 1015 !!!)
