It's June - time to feel the sand between your toes, the rumble of waves at the seaside and for the dogs to swim, race along the beach and put their noses up for seaside ozone!
And this being the UK, we can do all the above in the rain :-)
We're based in Gwbert - a seaside location near to the county town of Cardigan. You can get an idea of it here: http://www.cardigan-bay.com/gwbert-on-sea.php
Getting there: by car. There's no train line to this part of Wales unfortunately.
Once you're in Gwbert, the Saturday walk starts from a nature reserve 10 mins drive away, and then Sunday walk is about 15 mins drive away from the hotel/campsite. We are not using the coastal path, the cliffs are too high risk for a pack of dogs!
Group meal on Saturday evening.
Accommodation: There's a dog-friendly hotel with stunning sea views at Gwbert. There are a couple of holiday houses attached to the hotel which are also dog-friendly. And there's a good clean campsite (tents, motorhomes and caravans) nearby - we've stayed there before and thoroughly approve. Other cottages and B&Bs are also available. Hotel and campsite are on the coastal path, so plenty of opportunity for extra walkies!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please don't start to book accommodation until we have a group booking code for the hotel. I'm expecting to get all the details sorted out by December 2016.
Please use this page to get organised - see who else is going, sort out car-shares, and let us know you're interested. RSVP for the walks AFTER sorting out your accommodation :-)
