Tea is glorious. It has created history, inspired poetry, quenched thirst, and been a daily part of peoples’ lives for thousands of years. Now it will be the heart & soul of regular tasting sessions. Let’s learn from each other as we get to know tea’s delightful flavors and aromas, its fascinating history, how it’s made, and where it’s from. We’ll share and compare notes on delicate whites and yellows, smooth oolongs, refreshing greens, malty blacks, and deep, rich pu-ehrs.
This is for people who are pretty serious about tea, who know (or would like to learn) the difference between ali shan and tie guan yin or who are willing to break into two cakes of 2005 shou pu-ehr to compare them. Previous experience not required, but enthusiasm for tea is a must. Let’s meet and sip together!
