What we're about
Perhaps you’re going through life lonely, feeling confused? Perhaps you’ve recently gone through a significant change—marriage, kids, divorce, death of a loved one, and are searching for meaning and purpose? Perhaps you even went to church as a child but felt dissatisfied, bored? Are you looking for answers, curious or just hoping—is there more to this life? Is there a God? Can I know Him? What is this Bible all about?
The Bible is God’s Word, and it has answers for life and godliness. From beginning to end, it is the unfolding story of the greatest love of all. It is the greatest story ever told, about the greatest person who ever lived, and the greatest love ever offered. What does real love look like? Society today often describes love in romantic terms, but the Bible speaks of giving and sacrifice to the unlovely, the undeserving.
Exploring Christianity is a meetup group that is going to explore the Bible and put into practice showing and telling the love of God. We want to serve and love our community well.
Would you like to learn about the Bible in a friendly, open and comfortable environment? Here you can freely ask questions and receive, not opinions, but answers from God’s Word that truly make sense and give meaning and purpose to life.
Buffalo is ranked the 7th least Bible-minded city in America ( http://cities.barna.org/2015-bible-minded-cities/ ). Exploring Christianity is a group for anyone interested in exploring what the Bible is all about, what does it say about life after death, who is this person Jesus, and what is his call upon our lives. If you have ever wondered, been curious, or are just searching for answers and would like to know what the Bible has to say, this group is for you. Exploring Christianity Meetup is a welcoming, inviting environment, where you can make real friends, have great fellowship, and feel comfortable asking your deepest questions.
Whether you are new to the Bible, don't own one, or haven't opened it in years, Exploring Christianity is for you. We look forward to exploring the Bible and growing together.
