Applied Improv Network Regional Meeting

  • Norman and I will be speaking at this AIN event (originally posted by Patricia at the Improvocateurs). We've got some great speakers scheduled and I hope you can join us!

FYI -- For those of you interested in learning about Applied Improv, the AIN is a fantastic networking group -- and they're having a regional event right here in Portland! What is Applied Improv? The practice of taking improv philosophies and forms into the corporate world, the public sector, education, healthcare, and other practical domains, to make people and organizations happier, healthier, more creative, and more effective.

The AIN (Applied Improv Network) is an international organization of professionals who use improv in their work. The Pacific Northwest Region has its own group, and is hosting an event on Saturday, April 27. Eight speakers are lined up to talk about their own experiences with improv.

The event is $25. Box lunch, coffee, tea and snacks provided.
Starts at 9 am, goes to 4 pm. There will be mingling during and after.
Location: ComedySportz, 1963 NW Kearney St, Portland OR 97209 (NW Portland)

Yes, me too! Lots of interesting perspectives, and the event will be fairly intimate. I'm sure you could meet and talk with him (his name is Rick Huddle) if you'd like.
