What we're about

Stay at home moms (SAHM) who are passionate about working out, living a healthy lifestyle and feeling good by giving back to our communities. Most importantly, a group of woman who enjoy life and their role as a SAHM.

With so many wonderful mommy groups out there, I didn't find any that focused on a healthy lifestyle or a group that could explore opportunities to contribute back to our communities.

Mission: To build friendships with other SAHM who enjoy a healthy lifestyle. I want a group where we can share our knowledge about healthy choices we make for our families, and also be able to have fun. Do you want to try a new belly dancing class, or grab lunch at a new sushi place? Or maybe just grab a coffee and check out the latest makeup or fashion for this season?

Philanthropic efforts:
Let's explore opportunities to have our children get involved in giving back to our communities. With so many distractions, perhaps having our children "unplug" and maybe do an act of kindness will ground them. I am open to anything. I am looking for the group to provide suggestions (Ex ...write to our soldiers, help our elderly, cradles to crayon). Perhaps three times a year we would like to give back to our community and more importantly involve our children. The goal is to inspire each other by having meaningful and fulfilling experiences with our children and each other. You can decide if you want to look into volunteering or just meet other SAHM that have similar interest as you. There's no pressure.

What to expect:

Any member can set up a meet up. Our meet ups will be during the day 10-3pm when our kids are at school. Meet ups: (Lunch, coffee, try new class,,barre, pole dancing, natural skin can suggest a meet up.)

Members: MetroWest Area: Northboro, Southboro, Westboro, Marlboro, Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Natick, and Framingham. Let's be honest, if you leave more than 10 miles from each other, the friendships usually fizzle.

Must be a SAHM. These meet ups will be scheduled during week days when your child is at school.

Why only SAHM? I am fortunate enough to be able to stay at home. This works out for my family. As you know being a SAHM is non stop. We handle school projects, grocery shopping, food planning, school volunteering, doctor appointments, home service calls... its a full time job! As a SAHM, we may have two or three hours a week free for "mommy time" and would truly appreciate some real adult time that's not forced at school pick up. Most of my mommy friends have returned back to work outside their homes at an office, and our schedules no longer coincide. It is time to rebuilt our "Mommy Network" and inspire each other to be the best we can be.

Please email the organizer your suggestions. No MLM, if you're looking to sell something, you will be removed from the group. If you are inactive for 30 days or more, you will be removed. If you have joined the group and we have not met by 60 days you will be removed. No hard feelings, this group is intended to build true relationships. Please bring a positive attitude and an open heart to the group.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
