Discuss San Diego's future as an innovation and manufacturing hub, check out local hardware startups, and see a sampling of what is being made in San Diego.


Fab Lab is working with SD Startup Week to showcase local Makers and Hardware Innovators.

Discussion: The role that product development is playing driving economic development nationally, a spotlight on hardware developers here in SD, and a bit about how San Diego is perfectly situated to benefit from distributed manufacturing and the ‘Third Industrial Revolution’.

Prototypes and Pitches: A panel of local hardware start-ups will present their rapid-fire pitches followed by a quick Q&A session.

Showcase: A showcase of hardware made by local startups, as well as digitally-designed products and prototypes.

Aerial Mob – Professional unmanned aerial cinematography

Obrary – The marketplace of products customized for you

Parking:
If you are at EvoNexus for lunch, it is a 1 mile walk or 10 min trolley ride on the Blue or Orange line to the library.
Parking is free in the library parking garage for 2 hours with validation.
There is also 'Padres Park' parking garage at 11th and J. This place generally has a day max rate of $6-10, but that can go up for games or special events.
