Our comedians have Comedy Central, late-Night television, and prestigious comedy-festivals to their name! We lean more alternative with our comedy choices, but we have a wide variety of styles of points of views that are sure to fill your laugh buckets with hilarity!   • Coro-Dante Christmas Concert
    This is a free concert by the Italian repertoire chorus Coro-Dante, Directed by Kevin Galiè, with accompanist Leona Cheung. We are featuring an operetta by Stanislao Giacomantonio entitled "La Leggenda del Ponte" the legend of the bridge. Professional soloists will sing the lead parts in this story of two lovers who connect via an ice bridge. Traditional Italian carols as well. This is always a well-attended fun event.

    December 8, 2018: Come, join us again for the unbelievable (as always) Hanukkah Party for Russian-Speaking Families of Greater Boston Area. This time - in Norwood Rock-on Adventure GYM. The party runs in the mix of Russian and English (mostly, English, though), and each child gets a special attention! All children receive Hanukkah gifts. Your kids will enjoy the great party and might be learning something new too! Only $10 per kid for the Tribe Members. Parents do not need tickets at all.     Co-posted with two other groups also. We'll follow the schedule so you can join us any time. Duncan will be wearing a big brown hat. Cambridge residents free, others $15. This isn't a tour it's a socializer. SUMMARY: after going clockwise around the 2nd floor we head to the temporary exhibit How People Partied in the Ancient World (animal-shaped drinking vessels), then part of the 1st floor, then to a nearby pub! Schedule follows. DETAILS: At 2:30, CHECK IN, put your backpacks in the lockers, get your tickets, and meetup. You're advised to stay with the group and the timeline (below), hosts will be PASSING RIGHT THROUGH some areas because there will be so much more to see. So go! Socialize with the company. At 2:45, we head to the 2nd floor to the top of the stairs. we go into the Tobey Gallery right there & pass through to the Fancy Silverware exhibition. We continue on past the masterpieces portraying George Washington and Napoleon, to Ingres' Studies for the Martyrdom, Moreau's Jacob and the Angel (image above), The incredible Call to Arms sculpture by Rodin, Dante Rossetti, Burne-Jones' and some Van Goghs. And don't forget the room for the great 16th cent. sculptor Bernini. Around 3:30PM regroup on the 3rd floor behind the elevator shafts at the ancient party exhibition, https://www.harvardartmuseums.org/visit/exhibitions/5295/animal-shaped-vessels-from-the-ancient-world-feasting-with-gods-heroes-and-kings At 4:00 PM regroup at the elevators and head back downstairs to the 1st floor Surrealist Art (follow the hosts) --note the weird sculpture Detroit Queen. (Can you believe Harvard bought this?). Loop through there and get to the Picassos and the last room back towards the entrance including the last most popular gallery including world famous artists --then meet us again back at the open area cafeteria around 4:30. We leave at 4:45 to head over to the historic Daedalus Pub 10 minutes away. No pressure to order anything! Recommended= the Red Line subway to Harvard Square of the number 1 bus.
