Protest Teterboro Airport Bird Killing
Let's keep our wonderful momentum going for the birds! We had a fantastic demonstration last weekend and received a lot of media attention in the process. It is clear that the Port Authority does not want us to educate the motorists on Route 46, but the birds deserve the truth to be told. Help bring awareness to the Port Authority's policy of wildlife killing - goose gassing among other animal killing (starlings, blackbirds, etc.). In fact, Teterboro has the highest incidents of bird strikes of any local-area airport - obviously, they are doing something wrong!
Please help us bring awareness to the issue and the importance of non-lethal wildlife management - please show a great turnout for the birds!
Saturday, August 11th
11:00 - 12:30 - (Before the mid-day sun!)
Teterboro Airport, Teterboro, NJ (Rte 46 East, corner of Fred Wehran Dr.)
Parking will be on Fred Wehran Dr (corner of Route 46) Teterboro NJ. This is on the east bound side of Route 46 - the same side of the airport. So, you don't have to cross the highway to get to the demo. We will demonstrate on the corner of Fred Wehran Dr. & Route 46 East (1 block after Industrial Ave. - going eastbound).
