Hello everyone!
This Wednesday October 9th at 7:30 PM we continue our series on “Practical Alchemy” with the alchemical stage of Digestion. Digestion is the fifth step, according to Paul Foster Case, of the Alchemical aspect of the Great Work. Case divided the Great Work into 12 stages and matched them up with the 12 signs of the zodiac. We will be taking a look at one of these stages each class until we finish this series.
Because Digestion is associated with the sign of Leo, this class will be of interest to all of you Leos and Leo wannabes out there! This stage has something for everyone!
Case associates the stage of Digestion with the zodiacal sign of Leo. Everything we take into our bodies has both physical and spiritual components. In Digestion we begin to extract the spiritual essences from the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the sunlight that lights our world and warms our bodies. This stage is called the sages “the secret of all spiritual activities.”
Alchemy is the science of CONSCIOUSLY transforming our lives. Transformation (or Evolution) is a constant presence in our lives, but the science and practice of Alchemy can accelerate our rate of transformation to a point that would make most people’s head spin! This conscious process is an important part of the Great Work.
