What we're about

Attention all Fargo-Moorhead stitchers, sewers, sewists, and sewing enthusiasts! The FM Modern Sewing Guild is a nonprofit established in 2014. Our goal is to encourage each other, share our projects and learn new techniques. All levels welcome! Meetings take place on the third Thursday of every month at Liberty Middle School in West Fargo. We would LOVE to welcome you to our group!

Annual dues of $25 are required for guild membership, but your first meeting is free.

February Meeting

Liberty Middle School

Celebrate your love of fabric with us in February! Bring your January sewing challenge Valentine and we’ll guess who created each. Then get all touchy feely with a fabric petting zoo. We’ll learn how natural & synthetic fibers differ, what the heck those GSM numbers mean, and give you some tips to figure out what that mystery fabric in your stash might be. The January challenge project was to make a Valentine using something you love. That 'something' could be a material, tool, or technique. It's a chance for you to share your favorite thing in whatever way you wish! Don't put your name on it - we'll be guessing who made each Valentine at the end of the meeting. Have fun, and we're looking forward to seeing what you create!
