Re: [ultimatefrisbee-216] Highmark game details

People could park up on my Washington, but I'm pretty sure free parking doesn't start until after 6. The incline is very close to the stadium. Free parking is also available east of the stadium on Carson street starting near dominos, but again, it its only free after 6.

Can we show up early to toss?

Once we figure out how many teams, maybe timed games would be better, so we can get everyone equal playing time and we're constrained by the 8pm hour.
Also, can people park on Mt. Washington and take the incline down?  Does anyone know how far from the incline to the Stadium?

Hey all!

I hope you're looking forward to the game as much as I am. If you haven't RSVP'ed, please do, so I have a rough idea of how many people are coming. We've already got enough for two full games. I don't think that will be a problem - the soccer pitch should be wide enough to fit two full ultimate fields. We shouldn't have to deal with line changes, though, so I plan to do a round robin tournament (or something else, like loser sits) so that we all get to play a lot and don't have to deal with huge line changes. I expect we'll end up with enough for five or six teams (and subs), so we'll probably play games to 5. If we have enough time, we can even crown a champion.

We can bring water and family and friends. I'm sure that we can even bring a snack or two, as long as we don't go overboard.

There is parking at Station Square, but you have to pay for parking there. There's also (free) parking at the Incline, if you want to make the longish walk to the Stadium, you have that option. I haven't been able to figure out any other free parking options. If someone knows of another free option, please post a comment to the event page.

See you soon!

Jeff
