Hi WordPress-ers,

WordCamp Birmingham (#WPYALL) is coming up in August. I've attended about a dozen WordCamps over the years (Raleigh, Atlanta x4, Birmingham x4, Nashville, New Orleans). I really think you should attend #WPYALL, and I'll tell you why.

  • The Birmingham WordPress community is open and welcoming, full of southern charm with really amazing WP speakers and attendees.
  • Attendees come from all over the Southeast (and some from farther away) to gather and chat about ALL THINGS WordPress and anything else even remotely related to WP.
  • The classes are full of incredibly valuable information, for beginners, designers, developers, etc. ALL SKILL LEVELS are invited and welcome.
  • #WPYALL includes some business-oriented sessions, helping you market and grow your business.
  • The Happiness Bar - you get to ask any question and people help you. That's right, people help solve your questions and problems, and they're super-nice about it!
  • Attendance cost is reasonable ($50 for two days, and you get a T-shirt and SWAG too). The learning and networking opportunities are A-MAZ-ING.

Every. Single. Time. I attend a WordCamp, I learn something new, discover a new vendor or service, and I meet really great WP-minded people. If you haven't ventured out to the WordPress community via a WordCamp, it's a must-do!!

Ask me questions, I'll be happy to answer anything!
