Fabulous Divas' Book Club

Welcome to the Fabulous Divas Book Club! If you enjoy thought-provoking discussions, love and appreciate the diversity of life and cultures, and you enjoy meeting new people, then this is the group for you. We hope is to create a platform that promotes and supports literature by all writers, with a focus on celebrated Black authors, such as Toni Morrison, Richard Wright, Edwidge Danticat, Nora Neale Hurston, Eric Jerome Dickey. We read fiction and non-fiction books, classic works of the past/present and will help each other identify talented new writers of the future. Members are required to host a book review and social event at least 1 time in a calendar year. Book discussions will take place mostly on the 3rd Saturday of each Month (depending on the pandemic status, some discussions may occur virtually. This is NOT a virtual book club). Venues for social events is up to the host (in our homes, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops ,outdoors or a special venue). Come laugh, share stories and make new friends! All backgrounds, personalities and nationalities are welcome.
